Celeb reactions kept pouring in Sandeep Reddy Vanga called it “Style. Attitude. Chaos,” while Karan Johar hailed it as a “BIRTHDAY announcement” that is “kicks ass.”
Birthday teaser that packs a punch
The teaser isn’t just a birthday gift, it’s a thunderous announcement. Yash’s Raya enters amid chaos, in a cemetery where gunfire erupts, smoke rises, and bodies drop. Yet, through all this, Raya is calm, composed, and deadly confident. Armed with a tommy gun, every move, every glance screams control. And that now-viral line, “Daddy’s Home”.

Yash is back to breaking rules
With Toxic, Yash proves he's still the king of bold choices. As an actor, co-writer, and co-producer, he plunges into darker and morally ambiguous areas with Raya, an unapologetically intense character. From the international storytelling vibes to the high-stakes drama, this teaser promises that Toxic is going to be a game-changer in terms of style, attitude, and cinematic chaos.
The movie is set to release on March 19, 2026. Directed as a gritty crime drama, Toxic is set in the backdrop of 1980s Goa and centres on the operations of a powerful drug cartel operating beneath the region’s nightlife and tourist economy. The film has been described by its team as a darker, more grounded narrative compared to Yash’s earlier commercial films, though reactions to the teaser have been mixed.
