Moinul Ahsan Nobel seems to always be in the news for controversies. He was once a renowned singer and won the hearts of netizens in both Bengals, but now he keeps getting involved in various scandals. At times, he has criticised Rabindranath, and he also faced problems in his personal life.

Last year, Nobel went to jail for forcibly keeping a young woman at his home. Recently, he was arrested again last Monday in another case involving a woman, which also happened last year. A young woman filed a complaint against him after he reportedly took inappropriate photos and videos of her. He further pretended to marry her and later threatened to share them on social media. Following her complaint, Nobel was arrested last Monday. Although he got bail on Tuesday with certain conditions.
Nobel's remark sparks debate
But that wasn’t the end. In court, while speaking to reporters, he sparked more controversy. When asked if going to jail repeatedly made him feel guilty, he casually replied,"Humans make mistakes. Everyone makes mistakes. I made a mistake once; I can make a mistake again."
His words made it clear that he does not feel any remorse despite repeatedly committing crimes. He also said, "All my viewers and listeners understand me well. They will forgive me." On top of that, he even sang the song 'Meherban' in the courtroom.

Bangladeshi media reported that on August 13 last year, a young woman filed a harassment complaint against Nobel. After the investigation, the PBI submitted a report to the court, and on February 2, the court issued arrest warrants against Nobel and three others.
In connection with this case, Nobel was arrested last Monday by the Demra police from the Bottola area of Siddhirganj, Narayanganj. Apart from Nobel, the others involved in the case include his wife, Israt Jahan, his mother, Najma Hossain, and his assistant Munem Shah Soumik.
