On Wednesday, a woman in the Valsad district of Gujarat has been convicted with murder after reportedly poisoned and killing her three kids before attempted suicide by drinking phenyl.

Officials claim that the terrible incident happened after the woman and her husband got into a domestic argument after he allegedly found out about her extramarital affair.
Family conflict that turns into a deadly
The disturbing incident, according to the police, happened after the husband and wife got into a fight over the woman's alleged cheating. The three kids were reportedly died, because of the conflict getting worse.
Deputy superintendent of police (DSP) JK Patel of Valsad said that after knowing of the incident, police began looking into this matter immediately.
DSP, Jk Patel underlined, “We got information that a woman has killed her children. Upon investigation, we found that an altercation between the husband and wife followed after he discovered his wife’s affair.”
Police discovered throughout the inquiry that the woman had allegedly made her kids drink phenyl before trying to end her own life by doing the same thing.

The woman was found unconscious and taken urgently to a local hospital, where she is currently receiving treatment, as reported by police.
"She had made her children consume phenyl and did the same herself. We found her in an unconscious state and admitted her to a hospital. Further investigation is underway," DSP confirmed
