A three-year-old child in Jalgaon, Maharashtra, was rescued after an aluminium container got stuck on his head. The parents were unable to remove it due to the container's narrow-necked design and rushed the child to medical help. Several hospitals initially refused to perform surgery, but a doctor, with the help of a plumber, successfully removed the container. The child is now in good health, and a video of the rescue has gone viral on social media.

How the incident occurred
The incident took place on February 10 while the child was playing at home. According to the family, the child had placed the container on his head like a crown. Suddenly, it slipped down and got stuck around his neck, causing him to cry and experience breathing difficulties.
Despite repeated attempts by family members, the container could not be removed. They took the child from one hospital to another, seeking assistance.

Rescue operation with careful precautions
At a local hospital, Dr Minaz Patel decided to operate on the child. To ensure safety, he called hospital staff and plumber Khalid Sheikh to assist.
Using a grinder cutter, the team placed a wooden PVC sheet and a wet cloth near the child’s neck for protection. After nearly 12 minutes of careful cutting, the container was successfully removed.
The child felt immediate relief, and his family was overjoyed. The rescue video has since gained attention on social media for the meticulous efforts of the medical team.
