Crime to commitment: murderers tie the knot in jail – here’s what we know

A shocking real-life love story unfolds inside an Alwar jail, where two convicted murderers fell in love, married on parole, and stunned the nation with their dark pasts.

A love story that a film script would fail. Netizens were shocked when this news came to light. A jail became the place where two murder accused fell in love after they spent six months together in jail, and later they married each other. The surprising incident took place in Alwar, Rajasthan. 2 murderers, women identified as Priya Seth, killed her matchmate on a dating app. And the accused man, identified as Hanuman Prasad, has killed five people.

The Rajasthan High Court has granted them 15-day emergency parole for their marriage in Barodamev, Alwar.

The horrific murder by Priya Seth

Priya Seth, who was a model, but she had been found guilty of killing Dushyant Sharma, a young man she had met on a dating app, and received a lifelong punishment. The murder happened in 2018, on 2nd May, Priya Seth killed Dushyant with the help of her lover and another person. She planned that she would kidnap Dushyant Sharma, blackmailing for money, and she will give her lover to pay off Dikshant Kamra's debt.

According to her plan, she trapped Dushyant on the Tinder app and called him to her flat in Bajaj Nagar. She then demanded Rs 10 lakh from his father, but his father managed to transfer Rs 3 lakh. Meanwhile, they were afraid that if they released him, he could go to the police. So they killed him.

Dushyant’s body was recovered from Aamer hills on the night of May 3, and Seth, Kamra, and Walia were eventually arrested from the flat.

5 murders by Hanuman Prasad

Prasad was accused of murdering the husband and children of his girlfriend; interestingly, he was 10 years older than him. Santosh, his girlfriend, was a taekwondo player in Alwar. On 2nd October 2017, she called him to her place to kill her husband and children. Later, he murdered him with a knife. Santosh’s husband's name was Banwari Lal. Santosh lived with her three children and nephew. Later, she wished to kill her children and nephew as well.
