A fatal road accident in Telangana claimed five lives after a high-speed collision between a sports bike and a car in Mahbubnagar district.
The crash occurred after midnight on Sunday and involved a Suzuki Hayabusa, with the impact proving deadly for both vehicle occupants and passengers in the car.

How the accident took place
Police reports, per Hindustan Times, stated that the accident occurred on the Mahabubnagar bypass road when the car was reportedly taking a U-turn. At that moment, a speeding Hayabusa motorcycle approached from behind and rammed into the vehicle. The impact of the collision was severe, leaving both the bike riders and car occupants critically injured.
Officials said the crash happened around 1 am, and emergency responders rushed to the spot shortly after the incident. The damaged vehicles and debris were later cleared from the road as part of the initial response.
Victims include two children
Five people lost their lives in the accident, including two children. Reports indicate that two individuals were on the motorcycle, while three others were travelling in the car at the time of the crash.
All five victims suffered serious injuries in the collision. They were taken to nearby medical facilities, but did not survive despite treatment efforts. The identities of the deceased have been confirmed by authorities, and their families have been informed.
Police investigation underway
Mahabubnagar police have begun an investigation into the exact cause of the accident. Preliminary inputs suggest that speeding may have played a key role in the crash, though officials have not ruled out other possibilities.
