7 workers killed in massive chemical factory fire in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan

Seven workers were killed, and two remain trapped after a massive fire engulfed a chemical factory in Rajasthan’s Bhiwadi, with rescue and firefighting operations still underway.

At least seven workers were charred to death after a massive blaze broke out at a chemical factory in Rajasthan’s Bhiwadi on Monday. The incident took place in the Khairthal-Tijara district, where authorities have recovered seven bodies so far while firefighting operations continue.

Initial reports suggested that nine workers were trapped inside the unit. Rescue teams have retrieved seven bodies and are intensifying efforts to locate and save the remaining two, according to News18 Hindi. Fire tenders from the Khushkhera and Bhiwadi RIICO stations were rushed to the spot to bring the flames under control.
