After last year's Delhi explosion incident, multiple schools in Ahmedabad received bomb threat emails on Monday, prompting swift action from the police and local administration. Bomb disposal squads were deployed to the affected institutions, and search operations are currently underway. Reports also indicate that several schools in Vadodara received similar threatening emails.

Threat messages mention Khalistan
According to police sources, the email contained threats referring to turning India into Khalistan. A few days earlier, several schools in Delhi had also received similar emails. Those messages reportedly mentioned plans to turn Delhi into "Khalistan" in memory of Afzal Guru and included threats of attacks with specific timings.
Authorities have stated that more than 15 schools in Ahmedabad and 11 schools in Vadodara received bomb threat emails.
Investigation underway
Rivaba Jadeja, Gujarat’s Education Minister, said, "The government is serious about the bomb threats. All the threats received against schools and other places are taken seriously. The state government is investigating the bomb threats."

Police sources further stated that the email included the message"The threats were received through emails between 8:30 am and 9:00 am. Following the alerts, Delhi Police, fire department teams, and bomb disposal squads were immediately rushed to the affected schools."
Investigators are currently working to trace the IP address from which the bomb threat emails were sent.
