Why the sudden weather shift?

Experts reportedly stated that a fresh western disturbance in the Mediterranean region to be the actual reason behind the unstable pattern of the weather.

Prime tourist spots under the radar

Gulmarg, Sonmarg, and Pahalgam are likely to receive fresh snowfall. Rain showers are expected in the plains of the Kashmir valley and Jammu.

Travel is likely to remain disrupted during such weather events. Snowfall and rain can reportedly affect road transport, especially in the hilly terrain.

Amid the changing weather conditions, tourists have reportedly been advised to be cautious by the IMD and local authorities.
