Teacher, wife detained after video shows brutal abuse of specially-abled minor in Karnataka school

A shocking case of alleged abuse has emerged from Karnataka, where a specially-abled minor boy was brutally assaulted at a residential school for children with special needs.

A specially-abled minor boy lies writhing on the floor in agony. He screams for help desperately. Yet a man continues to beat him with plastic pipes and belts. Everyone was horrified when such a video spread on social media. Investigation reveals that this brutal incident took place at a residential school for children with special needs in Karnataka. A teacher at that school and his wife are accused of such torture on a 16-year-old student of the school.

The footage shows the teenager being repeatedly beaten with belts and plastic pipes. Even after falling to the floor in pain, even as he clutched his legs and screamed for help, the torture did not stop. According to police sources, such incidents of torture on students were happening at that residential school. A school employee recorded the video with the intention of stopping the matter and posted it on social media.

Police have stated that the person seen in the video is named Akshay Indulkar. He was seen beating in the video. This is not the end – the video captured the accused's wife rubbing chili powder into the eyes of the helpless, innocent child. Even as the teenager repeatedly cried and asked for water, the torture did not stop but rather intensified. Based on the victim's parents' complaint, police have filed an FIR in the case. Akshay Indulkar, his wife, and two other persons associated with the school have been detained for questioning.
