American electronic music duo The Chainsmokers are set to return to India later this year with a three-city tour scheduled for December 2026. The Grammy Award-winning pair, comprising Drew Taggart and Alex Pall, announced their comeback through social media, marking their first India tour since 2023.

Known for global chartbusters such as Closer, Something Just Like This, Paris and Don't Let Me Down, the duo enjoys a massive fan following among Indian millennials and Gen Z audiences.

The announcement has already generated excitement among fans who have been waiting for the duo's return for nearly three years.

The Chainsmokers India tour dates and cities

The tour will begin in Mumbai on December 18, followed by Delhi on December 19 and Bengaluru on December 20.

Mumbai will host The Chainsmokers at Sunburn Festival 2026 at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse.

The Delhi performance will be part of the Indian Sneaker Festival, while the Bengaluru show will be held under the Sunburn Arena banner.

The organisers are yet to officially announce the venues for the Delhi and Bengaluru events.

The duo confirmed the news on Instagram, saying they wanted to ensure fans received the best possible experience before making the announcement.

Tickets for the Mumbai and Bengaluru shows are currently available on BookMyShow.

According to the ticketing platform, prices start at Rs 3,500, although pricing may vary depending on seating categories and demand.

Organisers are expected to release more information regarding Delhi ticket sales and venue details in the coming weeks.

Fans are advised to book early, considering the strong demand typically associated with international acts performing in India.

Why do The Chainsmokers remain hugely popular in India?

The Chainsmokers have built an enduring connection with Indian audiences over the past decade.

Sunburn CEO Karan Singh described the return of The Chainsmokers as more than just another concert announcement.

He said the goal is to create immersive experiences that bring together music, community and fan culture at a larger scale.

With three consecutive performances across major cities, The Chainsmokers' India tour is expected to become one of the biggest international music events of the year.
