Marking World Water Day
The conclave is being organised as part of the observance of World Water Day, marked globally on March 22 each year. The day was designated by the United Nations General Assembly and has been observed annually since 1993.
World Water Day aims to raise awareness about the global water crisis, particularly the challenges faced by 2.1 billion people who still lack access to safe drinking water. The Ministry said the conclave aligns with these global efforts by promoting dialogue and solutions to improve water access and management.
