The box office run of Dhurandhar 2 continues to gather pace, with the film crossing ₹500 crore worldwide within just three days of release. Directed by Aditya Dhar and headlined by Ranveer Singh, the spy thriller has emerged as one of the fastest grossers in recent Hindi cinema.
Record-breaking third day collections
After a strong opening, the film registered its highest single-day earnings on Saturday. It collected ₹113 crore net in India, taking its domestic tally to ₹339 crore net, which translates to ₹404 crore gross. Globally, the film added over ₹150 crore on the day, pushing its worldwide total to around ₹545 crore.
The film had already set the tone with ₹75 crore from paid previews, followed by ₹165 crore on its opening day. Despite a minor dip on Friday, the overall momentum remained intact, with collections crossing ₹350 crore worldwide within two days.

Strong overseas performance
International markets have also contributed significantly to the film’s total. After opening with $7 million overseas, the film witnessed a drop on Friday before recovering on Saturday with a near 25 per cent jump. The overseas earnings now stand at approximately $16 million, reinforcing its global appeal.
Surpasses major Bollywood benchmarks
Within three days, Dhurandhar 2 has overtaken several recent big-ticket Hindi releases. It has gone past the lifetime collections of War and Tiger 3, and exceeded the worldwide total of Dunki, starring Shah Rukh Khan. Additionally, it has surpassed the ₹470 crore mark set by Border 2, becoming the highest-grossing Indian film of 2026 so far.
Cast and release details
Released on March 19, the sequel to the 2025 hit Dhurandhar features an ensemble cast including R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi.
With current trends holding steady, the film is poised for a massive opening weekend, with trade estimates pointing towards a ₹700 crore global total by Sunday.
