India sealed a 3-0 ODI series sweep over Afghanistan with a commanding nine-wicket victory in the third and final match at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Saturday.
After opting to field first, India made an immediate impact with the ball. Fast bowler Prasidh Krishna led the charge, striking at regular intervals to put Afghanistan under pressure early in their innings. The visitors struggled to build momentum as wickets fell at crucial moments.

Rohit played a fluent knock of 79 before departing, while Jaiswal continued his outstanding form. The young opener remained unbeaten on 110, bringing up a superb century and guiding India home without any trouble.
India crossed the target comfortably with nine wickets in hand and plenty of overs to spare, capping off a one-sided series in dominant fashion.
The victory highlighted India's strength in both departments, with the bowlers setting up the win and the batters finishing the job clinically. For Afghanistan, Shahidi's maiden ODI century was a significant milestone, but it was not enough to prevent another defeat as India completed a clean sweep of the series.
