The T20 World Cup is all set to bring another adventurous Super 8 clash between New Zealand and Sri Lanka. New Zealand’s first match against Pakistan had washed out and the journey of the Kiwis towards the semis had become complicated. On the other hand, Sri Lanka has started their Super 8 campaign with a loss against England. Now, both of the teams have to win all of their matches to reach the semis. If New Zealand win their next two matches they will reach five points, and if Sri Lanka wins their next two matches they will reach only four points. Any one team has to lose today and that could lead to elimination.

What to expect?

Sri Lanka and New Zealand both stood on the verge of elimination. For both teams luck has not gone well, injury woes for Sri Lanka led to a plan mismanagement and the washout in a vital clash created problems for New Zealand. Mitchell Santner has confirmed that the match is going to be played on a fresh pitch. In that pitch, spin is going to play a key role. Both teams have quality spinners and that can lead to an exciting showdown.

When and where to watch?

The match is going to be played in the Premadasa Stadium from 7 PM. The streaming will be available on Jio Hotstar and the broadcasting will be available in Star Sports network.
