A few days ago a trend covered the social media, people shared their life stories and cricket fans shared Virat Kohli’s heroics from 2016. Sunrisers Hyderabad won the trophy for the first time that year. In 2016, IPL turned 10 years and in a bizarre development, two of the most important franchises faced a two-year ban. In place ofChennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals two new teams came one is Rising Pune Supergiants and the second one is Gujarat Lions. Gujarat Lions had done pretty well in that season but for the first time, MS Dhoni failed to secure a playoff spot, Rising Pune Super Giants ended in last place.

The prime Virat Kohli

IPL 2016 has seen one of the best Virat Kohli classes, his every innings, every drop of sweat, showed the world his character. Scoring four centuries in one season, Virat ended the season with 973 runs. After 10 years, the record is still untouched. In that IPL season, he also hammered 7 half-centuries, averaging 81.08. Across all T20S in 2016, he amassed 1,614 runs at an average of 89.66.
