The Election Committee of the All India Football Federation has begun reviewing the organisation’s updated governance structure after the adoption of its new constitution. The panel visited Football House to understand the framework that will guide upcoming elections and administrative processes. This marks an important step in aligning Indian football governance with legal and institutional requirements following the Supreme Court’s intervention.
Committee led by Sunil Arora reviews structure
The three member panel is headed by Sunil Arora, and includes retired senior officials with experience in policing and investigation. The committee was constituted after the new constitution came into effect and has been tasked with overseeing the conduct of elections within the federation. Their visit focused on gaining clarity on procedural aspects and ensuring readiness for a smooth electoral process.
