At Lenovo Tech World 2026 in Las Vegas, Motorola made a number of significant announcements, including the release of its first foldable smartphone, the introduction of a new array of ultra-premium phones, and an outline of a larger push into connected devices and artificial intelligence.
The showcase marked one of Motorola’s most ambitious product reveals in recent years, with new smartphones, an AI platform developed alongside Lenovo, a wearable concept device, and special-edition products tied to global sporting events.

Foldable debut and premium smartphones
Motorola officially entered the foldable smartphone segment with the launch of the motorola razr fold, expanding the razr lineup into a larger, book-style form factor. The device features a 6.6-inch external display and opens into an 8.1-inch high-resolution screen designed for multitasking, content consumption, and productivity. Motorola said the phone is built to balance everyday usability with a larger-screen experience when unfolded.
The company also introduced a new ultra-premium smartphone range with the launch of motorola signature. Positioned at the top of Motorola’s portfolio, the device offers extended Android and security updates, high-end camera hardware, a flagship processor, fast charging, and premium materials. Motorola is also offering concierge-style customer support as part of the Signature experience.

Unified AI platform and wearable concept
Motorola and Lenovo jointly announced Motorola Qira, a unified AI platform intended to work across phones, PCs, and other connected devices. The platform combines Motorola’s and Lenovo’s existing AI tools under a single system, allowing information and tasks to carry over from one device to another.
Motorola also showcased Project Maxwell, a proof-of-concept wearable developed by its 312 Labs team. Designed as a hands-free assistant, the device is built to observe surroundings through audio and visual inputs and respond in real time. While not a commercial product yet, Motorola said the concept reflects how it sees AI fitting more naturally into everyday situations.
FIFA edition and device ecosystem expansion
As part of its partnership with FIFA, Motorola announced the motorola razr FIFA World Cup 26 Edition, featuring customised design elements, wallpapers, sounds and camera branding linked to the tournament. The device will go on sale from February through Motorola’s online store and select partners.

Motorola also expanded its lineup of connected accessories at CES 2026, adding new audio products, a smartwatch developed with Polar, a stylus compatible with its latest phones, and updated tracking accessories. The company said these devices are designed to work seamlessly within its growing ecosystem.
With its Tech World announcements, Motorola signalled a clear focus on premium hardware, foldable devices, and deeper integration between smartphones, accessories, and software platforms.
