In a late-night incident that has gone viral on social media platforms, two friends found an unusual way out of an unexpected problem by placing an order on a quick-commerce app.

A Pune Resident Mihir Gauhukar, shared a video on Instagram, recounting how he and a friend accidentally locked themselves out on their apartment balcony at 3am. As he explained, the two had stepped out briefly but found that the balcony door had shut and locked behind them.

Meanwhile, with the parents asleep inside the house, waking them up suddenly did not seem like an option. Without having any direct access to the main door from the balcony, these friends find themselves stranded with limited choices.

A different solution at 3 am

In a shocking twist, the duo, instead of panicking, thought of doing something out of the ordinary. They placed an order on Blinkit and used the chat option to explain their situation to the delivery executive. What they asked was simple but a little unusual. They asked the executive to help them unlock the entrance of their home.

Delivery executive steps in

In the video, one of the friends stranded is seen instructing the Blinkit delivery executive on the phone. He shows him where the spare key is kept and gives clear instructions on how to open the main door. Soon after, the Blinkit delivery executive is shown unlocking the door and proceeding towards the balcony.

As soon as he reaches them, the friends burst into laughter, clearly relieved that the situation had been resolved without disturbing their family.
