Startup founder gifts luxury car to first employee after five years to celebrate success

Bluorng founder Siddhant Sabharwal gifted a Mahindra BE6 car to the startup’s first employee Rahul, acknowledging his loyalty and contributions.

Just five years ago, an organisation began its journey. The fashion company has already achieved success. Siddhant Sabharwal built the startup called Bluorng in 2020 with Mokam Singh. This streetwear brand achieved success within five years due to its unique fashion.

First employee receives an unexpected gift

The person who was hired as the first employee when the company started was handed the keys to an expensive car. Rahul, the employee, could never have imagined receiving such a gift from his boss. During an office party, he was handed a key. Then, going forward with others, he learned that he had been gifted a Mahindra BE6 model car.

He was amazed to receive such an expensive car as a gift. In the video, Siddhant and Mokam can be seen celebrating their team's success. There, Siddhant mentions how Rahul became the first member of his team. At the same time, he announces that his company’s first employee will not have to take the metro anymore. Then he hands over the car keys to him.

Founders explain reason behind the gesture

One of the co-founders of the organisation, Siddhant Sabharwal, said this small gift was to acknowledge their first employee's loyalty. Siddhant explained that Rahul is one of the key members of his team, and the gift was given as a gesture of gratitude to acknowledge his work contributions.

Video goes viral on social media

Siddhant shared the video of presenting the gift to Rahul on Instagram. After that, Rahul goes with everyone to see the car. Though he was amazed, he congratulated other team members and expressed his excitement. The emotional moment went viral on social media. Netizens are commenting that this is how startup culture should be.
