After landing in Surat for the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) 2026, megastar Amitabh Bachchan was on Friday mobbed by fans at Surat Airport.

A sea of fans arrived at the airport to catch a glimpse of the legend. The viral video, shared by Viral Bhayani on Instagram, shows Mr Bachchan struggling to maneuver his way through the crowd. Surrounded by fans, he can be seen facing trouble even walking even as security personnel try to control the people.

However, amid all this pandemonium, the legend maintained his calm and even clicked pictures with overwhelming fans.

What is ISPL?

The Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) is a T10 tennis-ball cricket tournament held in India. It was launched in 2024 and focuses on spotting and promoting new cricketing talent.

Who owns which team?

There are a total of eight teams. Amitabh Bachchan owns Majhi Mumbai, Akshay Kumar owns Srinagar Ke Veer, Ajay Devgn owns Ahmedabad Lions, Saif Ali Khan is associated with Tigers of Kolkata and Salman Khan owns Delhi Super Heroes. Several of these Bollywood stars are expected to visit Surat to cheer for their teams.

In fact, a special helipad is being prepared for Akshay Kumar's helicopter entry.

Along with this, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Ajay Devgn, Suriya Sivakumar, Ram Charan, Hrithik Roshan, Sachin Tendulkar, Salman Khan and Arpita Khan will also be present.
