The brief touch of spring has begun to fade from the city’s air as temperatures climb steadily since the end of February. Kolkata’s minimum temperature rose from 19.5 degrees Celsius on Saturday to 20.4 degrees Celsius on Sunday. The maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded at 31.3 degrees Celsius.
