It is expected that it will be a run fest at Ahmedabad, anticipation for a lovely weekend remains high as one team's vulnerability will surely be exposed.

Undefeated streak masks problems for India

Team India’s undefeated streak layered problems for India, but on Sunday, it can be exposed. Abhishek Sharma’s form, Tilak Varma’s slow patch have come into question and as time passed, speculations of Sanju Samson’s inclusion in the team has raised. Though, it seems, India will not include Sanju in place of anyone and will go with the same team. Surya has also dismissed all the claims about this in the pre match press conference.

Abhishek Sharma is needed to come in runs and this will be a fantastic stage. The Indian team will try to leave a mark among all those speculations and questions.

South Africa aims to win

As much as the tournament goes deep, South Africa has raised the bar in this World Cup. Quinton De Kock and Ryan Rickelton’s top-notch performance can prove costly.

The tournament’s two most consistent teams are set for a high-stakes clash that promises intensity and narrow margins, even if it does not evolve into a high-scoring spectacle. Abhishek Sharma will attract significant attention, with many expecting a breakthrough innings, yet India’s formidable batting depth reduces reliance on any single player, a confidence echoed by the captain. South Africa, after an early wobble against Afghanistan, has regrouped strongly and appears to be peaking at the right time. With both sides carrying momentum and balance, the contest shapes up as a compelling, high-quality showdown between evenly matched contenders.
