The 'qualified' jobless candidates of the 2016 panel are still suffering the consequences of corruption in the recruitment process. In the case of the appointment of primary teachers, the division bench of the High Court argued, "There have been irregularities in some recruitments. But the High Court does not think that all the jobs should be cancelled for that. After Wednesday's verdict, primary teachers in the district are excited. With a sigh of relief, many people say, "I have come back from the jaws of death.”
Pinky Bera, a teacher from East Midnapore, said, "After hearing the verdict of Abhijit Ganguly, I felt like committing suicide. I couldn't think of the little kids. I used to go to school and teach the children. I thought that one day the truth would win. That's it. It's very nice.
Sumon Santra, a member of the East Midnapore District Primary Teachers' Association, said, "The teachers were very worried after the verdict. He was broken. He was crying to us. I assured them that one day everything would be fine. I am very happy for them after the verdict today.”

Primary teachers gathered at Bagha Jatin Park in Siliguri to celebrate the High Court's verdict on the appointment of primary teachers. With a sweet face, everyone played Abi's game. A primary school teacher said, "We are very happy. There was a fear. I was working with that fear. The court's verdict gave us a lot of relief.”
Somrita Gangopadhyay, a teacher at Kuturia Primary School in Salboni, said, “I was so anxious! After the cancellation of the school service commission's job, everyone was saying that this time the primary will also be canceled. However, we got a job with qualification after passing the TET. Today, the critics were given a befitting reply. At the same time, we can also breathe a sigh of relief."
Tohidur Rahman, a teacher at Uchahar Primary School in Keshpur, and Kaustav Chakraborty, a teacher at Panchberia Indubhushan Mishra Primary School in Daspur and others shared the same thoughts, "Everyone used to look at us with suspicion. This time, at least, I can go to school with respect. We welcome this humanitarian verdict of the High Court.”
