Jayramabati is being connected by railway. Now one can reach Jayramabati, steeped in memories of Sarada Ma, by taking a train directly from Bankura. The local MEMU train that used to run between Bankura-Maynapur is having its route extended up to Jayramabati. The Bankura-Jayramabati-Bankura local MEMU will be inaugurated on January 18. This train will run regularly from January 19.
Train timetable:
On January 18, 08095 Jayramabati-Bankura MEMU will run. On this day, the train will depart from Jayramabati at 2:45 PM and reach Bankura at 5:15 PM. The train will not return to Jayramabati on this day.
From January 19, this train (68096/68095) will run once daily between Bankura and Jayramabati in both directions.
The train will depart from Bankura at 6:25 PM and reach Jayramabati at 8:00 PM. In the return direction, this train will depart from Jayramabati at 8:10 PM and reach Bankura at 10:00 PM.

Which stations will this train touch?
This train will stop at 8 stations between Bankura and Jayramabati. These are Bheduashol, Ondagram, Ramsagar, Bishnupur, Birsa Munda, Gokulnagar-Jaypur, Maynapur and Bargopinathpur.
There was rail connectivity from Bankura to Maynapur. Now Maynapur has been connected to Jayramabati via Bargopinathpur. According to sources, the length of this section of railway is about 15 kilometres. This is also part of the Tarakeshwar-Bishnupur rail project. This rail connection will benefit Jayramabati on the tourism map. Similarly, it will be convenient for residents of villages in that area to come to Bankura city.
Along with this, the Bishnupur-Dhanbad-Bankura MEMU is starting from January 19.
