Four female students fell ill during an educational trip. This incident at Cooch Behar's Nripendra Narayan High School on Tuesday has caused a stir. The sick students were admitted to the hospital at night. However, why those four female students suddenly fell ill is still unknown. School management committee president Dilip Saha said he is looking into the matter.

According to school sources, 40 students from the school's class eleven were taken on an educational trip to Garubathan. Six teachers were also with them. On the way back from there, four female students became seriously ill, according to school sources.
Hospitalisation and official response
Around 9 PM, the four sick female students were admitted to Cooch Behar MJN Medical College Hospital. One of them was discharged after primary treatment. However, the other three are still undergoing treatment at the hospital. One female student is reported to have breathing difficulties. However, confusion has arisen regarding the cause of the illness.

Regarding the students' illness, the school's headmaster, Subrata Chakraborty was called multiple times but he did not answer the phone. When school management committee president Dilip Saha was called, he said, "I am looking into the matter."
