He is from Tarn Taran in Punjab and spent a part of his early life in the San Francisco Bay Area. That cross-cultural upbringing is strongly in his sound, which blends Punjabi lyrics with R&B, hip-hop, and electronic pop influences.
Talwiinder has long been an artist not just for his music but because he preferred flying under the radar.
