Prime Minister Narendra Modi's flight to Tel Aviv onboard INDIA1 became the most tracked in the world at around 4 pm

Prime Minister Narendra Modi landed in Tel Aviv at around 4.15 pm on Wednesday, reported Hindustan Times. He is on a two-day visit to Israel aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.

On arriving at Tel Aviv, PM Modi received a warm and ceremonial welcome by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu along with his wife Sara Netanyahu.

Netanyahu, accompanied by his wife Sara Netanyahu, personally received PM Modi at Ben Gurion Airport, greeting him with a hug, underscoring the close personal rapport between the two leaders. This marks PM Modi's second visit to Israel after 2017.

PM Modi's schedule

In his departure statement, the Prime Minister highlighted the growing depth of ties between the two countries and expressed optimism about upcoming discussions with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

During his visit, PM Modi is also scheduled to meet Israeli President Isaac Herzog, reported Money Control.

His address at the Knesset, Israel's Parliament, will begin at 8.30 pm IST on Wednesday, the Money Control report stated. The report added that later in the evening, PM Modi is scheduled to tour a technology and innovation exhibition before joining Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for a private dinner.

On Thursday, he is scheduled to visit Yad Vashem at 12.15 pm, which was established in 1953. Yad Vashem is Israel's official Holocaust memorial and commemorates the six million Jews who were killed by the Nazis. The report stated that this visit is likely to underline India's solidarity with the Jewish people.

Most tracked flight

Meanwhile, Hindustan Times stated in a report that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's flight to Tel Aviv onboard INDIA1 became the most tracked in the world at around 4 pm. Flight tracking portal FlightRadar24 reported at least 9,225 people viewing the flight across the globe at around 4 pm.

People of Indian origin waited at the King David Hotel to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as per a report by Hindustan Times.
