Dubai International Airport sustained minor damage after an incident linked to the ongoing Iranian attacks, according to a statement from the Dubai Media Office. Authorities said a concourse at Dubai International (DXB) was affected, but the situation was quickly brought under control and airport operations were secured.
Four people were injured in the incident and received medical treatment, the official post confirmed, adding that none of the injuries were believed to be life-threatening. Emergency teams responded promptly to the scene to manage the damage and ensure safety.
Officials said that contingency measures had already been activated, and most airport terminals had been cleared of passengers in advance, helping to reduce the risk to civilians. The precautionary evacuations allowed authorities to respond effectively as regional tensions continue to escalate following Iranian strikes targeting US and allied assets across the Middle East.
