Earlier this week, a newly released tranche of documents from the United States Department of Justice once again pushed Donald Trump into the centre of the Jeffrey Epstein storm.

The records, part of the ongoing disclosure of materials linked to the investigation into disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, include internal emails, handwritten notes, flight logs and unverified “untrue and sensationalist” allegations.

The POTUS has not been accused of any crime in connection with Epstein.

Here are five of the most shocking revelations in the new Epstein documents:

1. Trump flew on Epstein’s private jet far more often than previously known

An internal January 2020 email from a Manhattan federal prosecutor states that Trump travelled on Epstein’s private jet at least eight times between 1993 and 1996, “many more times than previously has been reported (or that we were aware).” Interestingly, the email was circulated for “situational awareness.”

2. Flights included Ghislaine Maxwell and a young woman

The same email notes that Epstein’s close associate Ghislaine Maxwell was present on at least four of those flights. One 1993 trip was listed only for Epstein, Trump, and a 20-year-old woman, whose name was redacted. Two other flights included women later described as potential witnesses in the Maxwell case.

3. Records contradict Trump’s past denials

The US Prez has repeatedly claimed he never flew on Epstein’s plane. The newly released flight logs directly contradict that assertion, listing him as a repeat passenger. Some records also note the presence of his then-wife, Marla Maples and his children. However, no criminal conduct is alleged.

4. FBI file cites an unverified rape allegation involving Trump

A 2020 FBI case file references a rape allegation in which names are redacted. It recounts a limousine driver describing a “very concerning” call during a 1995 ride, where Trump allegedly mentioned “Jeffrey” and “abusing some girl.” The file records an unnamed individual alleging, “he raped me,” adding that “Donald J. Trump had raped her along with Jeffrey Epstein.” The DOJ has repeatedly stressed that the allegation is unverified.

5. Handwritten letter claims the ‘president’ shared Epstein’s views

One of the most controversial documents is a handwritten letter attributed to Epstein and addressed to Larry Nassar, stating, “Our president shares our love of young, nubile girls.” But the DOJ has labelled the document unverified.
