Ukraine says Russian drone struck fuel storage site near Chernobyl

According to the Business Standard, Ukraine has accused Russia of targeting a nuclear fuel storage facility near the decommissioned Chernobyl nuclear power plant, saying a Shahed drone struck part of the centralised spent fuel storage complex inside the exclusion zone. Authorities said a small fire caused by the impact was quickly extinguished, with no immediate reports of radiation risks. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said it had been informed of the incident and would send inspectors to assess the damage.
