Police launch major response
Authorities deployed special police tactical units to bring the situation under control. At least one suspect was detained, while investigators began examining the sequence of events.
The firearm used in the incident has not yet been recovered. However, based on shell casings found at the scene, initial findings suggest it may have been a blank-firing pistol.
Dispute over management
Preliminary findings indicate that the clash may have been linked to internal disputes within the gurdwara. Police said disagreements surrounding the election of a new board of directors and control over funds could have triggered the violence.

A 56-year-old member of the congregation who witnessed the incident told Bild, "This must have been planned. Shortly before the service began, the attackers suddenly had pepper spray and sprayed their opponents. Then one of them fired a pistol. And I also saw knives."
The witness also described ongoing tensions within the management. "There have been problems and conflicts for some time. But it's mainly about influence and who has the final say here at the temple. When the attack began, many fled the temple in panic; it could have ended much worse. Fortunately, no one's life is in danger," they said.
Investigation underway
Police are continuing their investigation to determine the exact cause of the clash and identify those responsible. The criminal investigation department is working to establish who initiated the violence as authorities piece together details from witness accounts and evidence.
