Mouni Roy has shared her first Instagram post amid growing speculation about trouble in her marriage with husband Suraj Nambiar.
The actor posted a heartfelt birthday message for her close friend and producer Roopali Kadyan, describing her as a “sister through ruin and rapture,” while social media continued to buzz over rumours surrounding her personal life. Mouni’s post featured a series of photos of the two friends travelling and spending time together over the years.
“My sister come ruin or rapture. Happy birthday my erry’thing. Love your sarcasm, Witt, beauty inside out and all that makes you; YOU! I LOVE YOU!” Mouni wrote on Instagram.

“No adjectives can ever describe how much i love you and you already know that. You are a witch though,” she added.
Instagram activity sparks speculation
Speculation around Mouni and Suraj’s marriage intensified after fans noticed that the couple had unfollowed each other on Instagram.
Social media users also pointed out that actor Disha Patani, who is believed to be close to Mouni, had also unfollowed Suraj on the platform. Soon after the rumours gained traction online, Suraj’s Instagram account appeared to be deactivated or removed from public view.
Neither Mouni nor Suraj has publicly addressed the speculation so far. The couple married in January 2022 after reportedly dating for several years. At the time, Mouni had shared wedding photographs online along with a note that read: “I found him at last… Hand in hand, blessed by family & friends, We are married.”

Suraj Nambiar is a Dubai-based businessman who studied Financial and Managerial Accounting at the London School of Economics before joining his family business.
Mouni Roy’s upcoming projects
On the work front, Mouni was last seen in The Bhootnii, which also featured Sanjay Dutt, Sunny Singh and Palak Tiwari. She will next appear in Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, directed by David Dhawan and starring Varun Dhawan, Pooja Hegde and Mrunal Thakur.
While fans continue speculating about her relationship status, Mouni’s latest post has only added to the online conversation surrounding the actor and her marriage.
