Creative design tools have become an essential part of everyday digital life. From students preparing presentations and resumes to small businesses creating their promotional material and even individuals managing social media content, visual communication is no longer optional. Adobe Express, with its ready-made templates, image editing tools and video features, has emerged as one of the most widely used platforms for quick, professional-looking designs without requiring advanced design skills.
Despite of its usefulness, access to these premium design tools has largely remained limited by cost. Adobe Express Premium, which includes advanced features such as background removal, premium templates, stock assets and video tools, typically requires a paid subscription. For students, freelancers and first-time creators, these costs often act as a barrier, pushing them to rely on basic free versions or alternative tools that do not offer the same level of flexibility or quality.
That access gap is now set to narrow, with Adobe Express Premium becoming available at no cost to Airtel customers across India as part of a first-of-its-kind collaboration announced on January 29, 2026.
Airtel's partnership with Adobe will give its 360 million mobile, broadband and DTH customers access to Adobe Express Premium for one year through the Airtel Thanks app, without requiring a credit card. The Premium version, which normally costs around ₹4,000 annually which includes professional templates, stock assets and advanced editing features.

Why Adobe Express Premium matters for students
For years, the high cost of licensed creative software has pushed many students to rely on pirated websites or unauthorised tools to access premium design features, particularly for college projects, resumes and presentations. Such platforms often expose users to malware, data theft and often legal risks. Adobe Express Premium includes features commonly used for academic and early-career work, such as resume design, project presentations, posters, portfolio layouts and short video edits that will help students, especially those outside professional design courses to access paid creative tools for free.
Commenting on the partnership, Siddharth Sharma, CEO – Connected Homes and Director – said that "this partnership is about more than technology. It is about empowering millions of Indians with cutting-edge AI tools to create and innovate. From a student crafting their first resume to a small business owner designing a poster or a creator editing videos for followers, we want to empower every Airtel customer with the tools for self-expression. With Adobe Express, world-class creative tools are no longer a luxury—they’re a reality for every Indian.”
Adobe’s President of Digital Media, David Wadhwani, said the partnership would help widen access to creative tools in India, where demand for short-form and local-language content continues to grow.
