The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) will announce the Higher Secondary (HS) Examination 2026 results on May 14 at 10:30 am, according to an official notification issued by the council.
The results will be formally declared through a press conference at Vidyasagar Bhavan in Salt Lake, Kolkata.
Students will be able to access and download their results online and through mobile applications from 11 am on the same day, the notification stated.

The council has also confirmed that physical copies of marksheets, pass certificates and registration certificates will be distributed through 56 designated distribution centres across West Bengal on May 14 from 11 am onward.
Results to be available across multiple websites and apps
According to the notification, students can check their HS 2026 results through multiple official and partner websites, including the WBCHSE result portal and other educational platforms listed by the council.
Institutions have been instructed to collect the marksheets and related documents from their designated distribution centres and distribute them to students on the same day itself.
The notification, issued under memo number L/PR/204/2026 and dated May 8, was signed by WBCHSE President Dr Partha Karmakar.
Distribution centres identified across Bengal
The council has released district-wise distribution centre details covering north Bengal, Burdwan region, Medinipur region and Kolkata regional office jurisdictions.
Schools across districts including Kolkata, North 24 Parganas, Howrah, Nadia, Hooghly, Murshidabad, Darjeeling, Jalpaiguri, Purba Medinipur and Purulia have been listed as designated collection centres for institutions.

The announcement comes weeks after WBCHSE had earlier notified stakeholders regarding the expected publication timeline for the Higher Secondary examination results.
Students are now expected to closely monitor official portals on May 14 as lakhs of candidates await their Class 12 results.
