The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the provisional answer key for NEET UG 2026 on its official website. Candidates who appeared for the examination can now access the answer keys through the NEET portal at NTA NEET official website.
According to the official notification, provisional answer keys for all question paper series have been uploaded online. Candidates will also be allowed to raise objections after the scanned OMR answer sheets are made available on the website.

Challenge facility to open separately
NTA said candidates can submit representations against the provisional answer keys and OMR grading by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs 200 per question challenged.
The agency added that the schedule for uploading scanned OMR sheets and opening the challenge window will be announced separately.
How to download NEET UG Answer Key 2026
Candidates can follow these steps to access the provisional answer key:
Visit the official NEET website at neet.nta.nic.in
Click on the "NEET UG Answer Key 2026" link on the homepage.
Enter the required login credentials.
Click on submit.
The answer key will appear on the screen.
Download and keep a copy for future reference.

Exam held on May 3
The NEET UG 2026 examination was conducted on May 3 in pen-and-paper mode from 2 pm to 5 pm.
This year, the exam was held at more than 5,432 centres across 551 cities in India and 14 cities abroad. Around 22.79 lakh candidates had registered for the medical entrance examination.
The paper consisted of 180 questions carrying a total of 720 marks.
