Students who remain unhappy with their ICSE 2026 marks even after the recheck process have one final chance to seek a review. The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has opened the re-evaluation application window, allowing eligible candidates to request a detailed reassessment of their answer scripts.
The online application process began on May 30 and will remain available until June 1, 2026.
Who can apply for ICSE re-evaluation 2026?
The re-evaluation facility is available only to students who have already completed the recheck stage. Following the announcement of recheck results on May 29, eligible candidates can now proceed with the next level of review through the official online portal.

Students seeking a closer examination of their evaluated answer sheets must submit their applications within the specified deadline.
Re-evaluation fee and application deadline
Candidates applying for re-evaluation will have to pay ₹1,500 for each subject or paper they wish to be reviewed.
CISCE has stated that requests will be accepted exclusively through the online application system. No applications will be considered once the June 1 deadline passes.
Re-evaluation results likely by July
The council is expected to complete the re-evaluation process and declare the results by July. Students who apply are advised to regularly monitor official updates regarding the status of their applications and result announcements.
ICSE improvement exams scheduled from June 15
Alongside the re-evaluation process, CISCE has released the schedule for the 2026 improvement examinations.
The ICSE Improvement Examination will be conducted between June 15 and June 30. Students will have the opportunity to improve their performance in several major subjects, including Mathematics, English Language, English Literature, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, History & Civics, and Hindi.

ISC improvement exams to continue till July 1
For ISC students, the improvement examination period will run from June 15 to July 1.
The examination schedule covers subjects such as Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Accounts, Economics, Political Science, Commerce, Geography, and Business Studies.
Admit cards expected soon
CISCE is expected to issue admit cards for the improvement examinations shortly. Students intending to appear for these exams should keep an eye on official notifications and ensure that all necessary procedures are completed within the stipulated timelines.
