The Uttar Pradesh Bachelor of Education (UP BEd) Entrance Examination 2026 is being conducted today, May 31, across designated examination centres in the state. Candidates appearing for the test are advised to arrive well before the reporting time and ensure they carry all mandatory documents for smooth entry into the examination hall.
The entrance examination is scheduled in two sessions. The first shift is being held from 9 AM to 12 noon, while the second shift will take place from 2 PM to 5 PM.

According to the examination schedule, candidates are expected to report to their respective centres at least one hour before the commencement of the test.
Morning Shift: 9 AM to 12 Noon
Evening Shift: 2 PM to 5 PM

Documents required at the exam centre
Candidates must carry the following items to gain entry into the examination venue:
Printed copy of the UP BEd 2026 admit card
A photocopy of the admit card
A valid photograph as required
The photocopy of the admit card will be collected by the invigilator during the first shift of the examination.
Important exam-day guidelines
Candidates should carefully follow all instructions issued by the examination authorities.
Entry into the examination hall is permitted 60 minutes before the exam starts.
Biometric verification will be conducted during the examination process.
Answers must be marked only on the OMR sheet by darkening the appropriate circle using a black ballpoint pen.
Mobile phones, calculators, electronic gadgets, written notes and plain sheets of paper are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall.
Negative marking in UP BEd 2026
The entrance test includes a negative marking system.
Each question carries two marks. For every incorrect response, one-third of the allotted marks will be deducted. Candidates are advised to answer carefully while attempting the paper.

Click on the "FOR U.P. B.ED. JEE 2026 ADMIT CARD DOWNLOAD" link.
Enter your registration number and password.
Submit the required details.
The admit card will be displayed on the screen.
Verify all details and download the document.
Take a printout for examination purposes.
Candidates are advised to check all information mentioned on the admit card carefully and carry a printed copy to the examination centre on the day of the examination.
