The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) officially declared the Class 12 Result 2026 on May 13. This year, a total of 2,65,417 students appeared for the Punjab Board Class 12 examinations, of which 2,42,755 students successfully passed. The overall pass percentage for the examination stood at 91.46%.
Performance of students
According to the stream-wise performance data released by the board, commerce students recorded the highest pass percentage at 98.78%. It is followed closely by science, with 98.47%. The humanities stream registered a pass percentage of 87.74%, while students from the vocational stream recorded 87.80%.

The board also stated that girls outperformed boys in this year’s examination results. Female students recorded a pass percentage of 94.73%, whereas male students achieved 88.52%.
How to check your result?
Students who appeared for the PSEB Class 12 examinations are advised to keep their roll number and login details ready to avoid last-minute delays while checking their results. The online marksheet released by the board is provisional in nature, while the original marksheets will later be distributed by the respective schools.
To check the Punjab Board Class 12th Result 2026, students need to visit the official website at PSEB official website.
On the homepage, candidates must click on the PSEB Class 12th Result 2026 link, enter their roll number and date of birth, and submit the details to access their scores. Students are also advised to save and download their results for future academic use.

Apart from the official website, students can also download their digital marksheets through DigiLocker. The scores will additionally be available on the UMANG application and through the SMS facility.
The PSEB Class 12 board examinations were conducted from February 17 to April 4, after which the board began the answer sheet evaluation and result preparation process.
