Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda and his wife, actor-entrepreneur Lin Laishram, are all geared up to start an exciting new phase in their lives. The couple shared heartwarming news with their fans today by announcing that they are expecting their first child, two years after their marriage.

A heartwarming Instagram reveal
On their second wedding anniversary, Randeep and Lin took to Instagram to share the joyful news. The couple posted a serene picture of themselves sitting in the woods by a bonfire, dressed in matching beige outfits, and smiling at the camera. Along with the picture, they declared the pregnancy of Lin with the following caption, "Two years of love, adventure, and now… a little wild one on the way."
Fans immediately inundated the post with congratulatory messages. Comments ranged from “This new chapter is going to be beautiful. Congratulations,” to “Omg! Congratulations, so happy for you guys.” Others expressed their good wishes for the couple’s new phase of life.
A glimpse into their love story
Randeep and Lin's love story started at Naseeruddin Shah's theatre group, Motley. They became friends, after which they developed feelings for each other. After being in a relationship for a few months, they got married in 2023 in Imphal, Manipur. They had a traditional Meitei wedding, which was attended by their close friends and family members. Randeep, dressed as a Manipuri groom, and Lin, draped in a traditional bridal attire with gold jewellery, looked every bit ready to settle into the local way of life. Talking about choosing this venue for the special day, Randeep once said, “I want to experience my life partner’s culture, that’s why I am here.”
Career highlights
Lin Laishram has been a part of films like Om Shanti Om (2007), Mary Kom (2014), Umrika (2015) and Rangoon (2017). Randeep Hooda was last seen in Jaat, opposite Sunny Deol. He will next feature in the American action-adventure comedy Matchbox, directed by Sam Hargrave, which also stars John Cena, Jessica Biel and Danai Gurira. The film is scheduled to be released in 2026.
