Being a sister comes with its set of responsibilities, especially with her younger sister’s wedding in the pipeline. This December, Anisha Padukone will marry her fiancé, Karan Acharya, who is based in Dubai. Anisha’s wedding will also relate her to the Deol family through her soon-to-be in-laws.
Unlike her sister's glittering world, Anisha has maintained a rather low profile. Having pursued studies in economics and psychology, she looks after the affairs of Deepika's organisation, Love, Laugh, Live pertaining to initiatives for mental well-being, along with a few other professional commitments. She will forge a relationship with the Deol family after her marriage to Sikander.
Anisha is marrying Karan, the son of the granddaughter of legendary filmmaker Bimal Roy. To explain it further: Bimal Roy’s daughter Rinki Bhattacharya is married to filmmaker Basu Bhattacharya. Their daughter Chimu Acharya is Karan’s mother. Karan, residing in Dubai, manages the family business in that city. Meanwhile, Karan’s sister Disha Acharya is married to Sunny Deol's son Karanveer. After marriage, Anisha will become the daughter-in-law of the extended Deol family.
