Big B's mantra: Idle mind breeds negativity 'so work till you can ..more later'

Amitabh Bachchan shares his thoughts on how absence of work can have 'detrimental feelings' and also appreciates the Under-19 Men’s Cricket World Cup team for winning the finals

The proverb 'an idle mind is devil's workshop' signifies that a person with no work is surrounded by negative thoughts. As for megastar Amitabh Bachchan, he starts his day early, asserting that work commitments and scheduled meetings keep him busy since the morning. He firmly believes, "Absence of work has detrimental feelings, and so work work work."

'Staying busy is a blessing'

The actor also stated that work responsibilities make him start his day early.

“It is rather early for the blog, but some meetings have been set for an early morning, hence this timing,” he wrote in the blog. He added that staying busy with meaningful work is a blessing, as no work or laziness can lead to negativity. Asserting that one should work as long as possible, the megastar added, "Work efforts slowly fructify, and I hope that one can be occupied in the time of work... it is essential... absence of work has detrimental feelings, and so work work work .. till you can ..More later."

Big B lauds young Indian cricketers

In another development, Big B recently appreciated India’s Under-19 cricket team for winning the World Cup. He also stated that it is a proud moment for India. He wrote, “U19 Cricket INDIA... WORLD CHAMPIONS! Thok diya dushmano ko!! Blind, women's, and Men's cricket are ALL world Champions .. we are NUMBER 1... ONE... on top, FIRST in World .. We are NOT 3rd World; we are FIRST World!! BHARAT MATA KI JAI.”
