BJP Member of Parliament and actor Kangana Ranaut marked her 40th birthday on Monday with a visit to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. She was accompanied by her family for the occasion.
The actor-politician shared photographs from the meeting on her social media accounts. She wrote: "Got time and guidance of Honourable Prime Minister along with family today. It has been a memorable birthday for me."

The meeting with the prime minister
The photos showed Kangana Ranaut and her family along with her parents and young nephew with PM Modi. One image captured her in direct conversation with the prime minister. Another showed her parents seated with folded hands before him, as he smiled. Her nephew was seen playing nearby during the visit.
Kangana Ranaut dressed in a white handloom sari for her birthday. The garment appeared to be tussar or ghicha silk with a jamdani-inspired weave. This depicts her prominent preference for traditional Indian fabrics.
Kangana Ranaut's family brought two gifts for the prime minister. first was a handloom shawl from Himachal Pradesh, representing the traditional crafts of her home state. The second was a painting of the Vishnu Dashavatara -depicting the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu -chosen for its cultural significance.

Political background of Kangana Ranaut
Kangana Ranaut represents the Mandi constituency in Himachal Pradesh.
She won the seat in the 2024 Lok Sabha general elections on a BJP ticket. She has frequently praised PM Modi at public events and on social media.
