The speculation began after Dhar, ahead of the release of Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge, urged audiences to stay back till the end credits. The remark led many viewers to expect a major reveal.

After this, a video went viral stating that there will be a title card announcing the release of Dhurandhar 3, but there has been no official announcement of the same as there has been no mention of the same in the ending credits of the film.

Franchise planned as a two-part story

According to available information, the Dhurandhar series was conceived as a two-part project, with The Revenge serving as the concluding chapter.

Industry sources and the makers have not indicated any expansion beyond the second instalment. The viral clip is not part of the official film and appears to have been created to capitalise on the film’s popularity.
