Leonid Radvinsky, the Ukrainian-American entrepreneur behind OnlyFans, has died at 43. He passed away after a long battle with cancer, the company confirmed to Reuters.
Radvinsky, who bought OnlyFansâ parent company in 2018, helped make the platform a global phenomenon or platform.
Cause of his death
OnlyFans announced via a spokesperson to Reuters, âWe are deeply saddened to announce the death of Leo Radvinsky. Leo passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer. His family have requested privacy at this difficult time.â Radvinsky had been privately fighting the disease, which ultimately took his life at a young age.

Impact in Radvinskyâs business
Radvinsky bought Fenix International, OnlyFansâ parent company, in 2018 and was its director and main shareholder. He started the venture fund Leo in 2009 to invest in tech companies. OnlyFans was launched in 2016 by Tim Stokely. The platform became popular worldwide during COVID-19 as creators shared subscription-based content online.

In January, Reuters reported OnlyFans was considering selling a majority stake to Architect Capital for about $5.5 billion including debt. Radvinskyâs leadership made the platform a major source of income and entertainment worldwide.
