Actor Kritika Kamra and television host Gaurav Kapur have tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony held at their residence in Mumbai. The couple chose a private celebration with close friends and family instead of a grand destination wedding, keeping the event simple and meaningful.

The wedding took place on March 11 and was attended by a select group of guests from the film and sports fraternity. Actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar and actor-television personality Malaika Arora were among the celebrities present at the ceremony.

A simple ceremony with close friends and family

According to NDTV, the couple opted for a minimalist and private wedding at their Mumbai home rather than an extravagant celebration. Reports said a small traditional pooja formed part of the ceremony, reflecting the pair’s preference for a quiet and personal event.

Several well-known personalities attended the wedding to celebrate the couple’s new chapter. Among those spotted at the event were former Indian cricketers Zaheer Khan and Virender Sehwag, as well as actor Soha Ali Khan and actor Sagarika Ghatge. Photos and videos of the newly married couple posing for paparazzi quickly began circulating on social media after the ceremony, drawing congratulatory messages from fans and industry colleagues.

Instead of a traditional reception, the couple reportedly planned a casual after-party to celebrate their union with friends from the entertainment and sports industries. The approach reflected their desire for a modern and intimate celebration rather than a large-scale celebrity wedding.

Kamra, known for her work in television shows and digital series, and Kapur, a popular television presenter and cricket host, have largely kept their relationship private. Kritika and Gaurav have largely kept their relationship away from the public eye. However, in recent months, the couple occasionally shared glimpses of their time together on social media, posting moments from vacations, breakfast outings, and casual dates.

In December last year, Kritika made her relationship with Gaurav Instagram official by sharing a few goofy pictures from their breakfast date. She captioned the post simply, “Breakfast with.”
