Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan are set to reunite on the big screen with their upcoming thriller Haiwaan, which is scheduled to hit theatres on September 11, 2026.
The release date was announced by KVN Productions through a social media post. Sharing the film's poster, the production house wrote: “In Cinemas 11th September 2026. 60 Blockbusters. One master storyteller, film by Priyadarshan, Haiwaan.”
Directed by Priyadarshan, the film marks the first on-screen collaboration between Akshay and Saif in several years.

Priyadarshan brings the duo together
Haiwaan is described as an edge-of-the-seat thriller and also stars Shriya Pilgaonkar and Saiyami Kher in key roles.
The film is backed by KVN Productions and Thespian Films. It is produced by Venkat K Narayana and Shailaja Desai Fenn and will arrive in cinemas worldwide on September 11 next year.
The project adds another collaboration between Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan, who recently worked together on Bhoot Bangla.

Akshay continues busy slate
Bhoot Bangla featured an ensemble cast including Paresh Rawal, Jisshu Sengupta, Rajpal Yadav, Tabu, Wamiqa Gabbi and Asrani. The film became one of the successful Hindi releases of 2026.
