Actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas’s pirate adventure film The Bluff has emerged as the most-watched streaming original film across platforms worldwide, despite receiving mixed critical reviews after its release.
According to data reported by Variety, the film topped the Streaming Originals: Film chart for the period between February 27 and March 5. Released on Prime Video on February 25, The Bluff recorded an estimated 300.3 million minutes of viewership, placing it ahead of several competing titles on other major platforms.

The achievement comes even as critics offered divided opinions on the R-rated pirate drama, which blends action sequences with a revenge-driven storyline.
Other streaming releases trail behind
The second position on the streaming chart was taken by Accused, directed by Anubhuti Kashyap.
The film, which premiered on Netflix on February 27, accumulated 213.1 million minutes of viewership. It stars Konkona Sen Sharma and Pratibha Ranta and centres on a London-based gynaecologist facing allegations of workplace misconduct.
Another Netflix release, Firebreak, secured the third spot with 177.2 million minutes of viewing time. Documentary Paul McCartney: Man on the Run, directed by Morgan Neville, ranked fourth with 156.2 million minutes, while The Wrecking Crew rounded out the top five with 110.6 million minutes of viewership.
Action-packed pirate story
Set in the Cayman Islands, The Bluff follows Ercell Borden, played by Chopra, a woman living in a Caribbean coastal town who is forced to confront a violent past.

When a feared pirate named Connor, played by Karl Urban, begins hunting her family, Ercell is compelled to embrace her former identity as the legendary pirate Bloody Mary. The film features sword fights, gun battles and high-intensity action sequences as the protagonist tries to protect her son and family from danger.
Directed by Frank E Flowers, the project was produced by Anthony Russo, Joe Russo and Angela Russo-Otstot under the banner of AGBO. The ensemble cast includes Temuera Morrison, Ismael Cruz Córdova, Safia Oakley-Green, Zack Morris and David Field.
