Dhurandhar: The Revenge's new trailer has created a lot of excitement on the internet. Fans' attention has been drawn to Ranveer Singh's strong on-screen appearance, but the trailer's captivating background music also sparked interest. The song, which is a version of the popular song "Ari Ari" from the early 2000s, is gaining popularity on social media, leading many listeners to look up the original singers who made it. The Danish-Indian pop group Bombay Rockers is currently in the limelight due to the growing excitement.

Who are Bombay Rockers

The Danish-Indian musical band Bombay Rockers was founded in the early 2000s. Danish musician Thomas Sardorf and singer and composer Navtej Singh Rehal, who is better known by his stage name Naf, make up the band. Rehal initial contacted Sardorf along with Danish producer Janus Barnewitz from the Scandinavian production company WCA in Denmark in 2003. They created an original musical style by fusing Western genres like pop, R&B, and hip-hop with Punjabi bhangra influences while experimenting using different sounds. "Ari Ari" was one of the first songs to come out of these recordings. The song combined pop production and electronic beats with Punjabi folk music as a source of inspiration. The song stood up due to the distinct blend both classic and modern elements. This became famous among DJs and received a lot of play on the radio in Denmark, ultimately introducing Bombay Rockers to a larger global audience. After "Ari Ari" became popular, the pair produced their first album, Introducing. According to accounts, the album received five platinum certifications and sold over 100,000 copies globally. The album achieved popularity in India, where it held the top spot of the album charts for 15 weeks in one week before becoming platinum. It eventually came out in more than thirty countries, which helped in the duo's international popularity growth. Bollywood allowed the two to rebuild relations with Indian viewers decades later.

‘Ari Ari’ returns with Dhurandhar 2

The renowned song has now been reprised for Dhurandhar 2. Shashwat Sachdev, the music composer, has revised the song while keeping its original charm. Irshad Kamil wrote the lyrics for the latest version, which also includes singing by Navtej Singh Rehal, Khan Saab, Jasmine Sandlas, and Sudhir Yaduvanshi. Bombay Rockers confirmed the song's comeback on Instagram after the trailer was released, by posting: "The iconic 'Ari Ari' by Bombay Rockers returns in Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge." Post it because you'll adore it. The entire song will be released soon.
