It stated that the film will return to theatres across nearly 185 screens in North America alone, signalling the extraordinary anticipation for the next chapter. The sequel is set to release on March 19.
Dhurandhar: The Revenge is set to open in theatres on March 19, during holidays like Eid al-Fitr, Ugadi, and Gudi Padwa. The sequel will release in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam, unlike the original, which was only in Hindi. On March 18, exclusive premieres will be held in the US and Canada, mainly on Premium Large Format (PLF) screens with expansive displays, Dolby Atmos sound, enhanced projection, and premium seating.
The plot of Dhurandhar
The first movie, which took place in Lyari, Karachi, focused on undercover intelligence operations connected to events such as the hijacking of an aircraft in Kandahar, the attack on the Indian Parliament in 2001, and the Mumbai attacks in 2008. While tracing his background as Jaskirat Singh Rangi, the sequel will examine the rise of Ranveer Singh's character Hamza Ali Mazari in Karachi crime.
